1.2.2

Released July 20, 2026

  • Anonymous usage analytics. Palmful now records screen views and a few basic actions so we can see which features matter and keep making the app better. It's anonymous and never includes your journal entries, which stay on your device.
  • Clearer privacy policy. We updated our privacy policy to spell out exactly what is and isn't collected.

1.2.1

Released July 7, 2026

  • Setup is now optional. Sex, activity level, current weight, goal weight, and weekly pace can all be left blank — tap Skip for now to jump straight in with general targets, and personalize anytime in Settings.
  • No more being blocked by a pre-filled value. The weekly-rate field starts empty, so saving your profile no longer gets stuck on a number you didn't enter.
  • Visual polish. Fixed a dark band that could appear below the content on the welcome and Settings screens.

1.2.0

Released July 7, 2026

  • Terms of Use & medical disclaimer. A brief disclaimer now greets you the first time you open the app, with links to the full Terms of Use and Privacy pages. Palmful is a tracking journal — not medical advice.
  • Fixed saving in Settings. Saving your profile no longer gets blocked when your target weight or weekly rate were already set and left unchanged.

1.1.0

Released July 5, 2026

  • New Trends tab. Your progress now has its own home in the bottom nav — no more digging through Settings.
  • Weight trend, front and center. The weigh-in chart and your recent weigh-ins moved into Trends.
  • Rhythm. See which days you showed up over the last 30 days, plus your current streak.
  • Balance. See how your average portions — protein, carbs, veg, fat — compare to your targets across the last 30 days.
  • Refined the app icon.

1.0.0

Released June 28, 2026

Welcome to Palmful — a daily nutrition journal built on the hand-portion method. No calorie counting, no weighing food: the measure is the body itself.

  • Track your day with four simple hand portions — palm (protein), cupped hand (carbs), fist (veggies), and thumb (fat) — logged in easy half-portion steps.
  • Targets that shift with your day: Hard, Easy, or Rest. Prefer to keep it simple? Turn the training-day adjustment off for one steady baseline.
  • Personalized portions: set up a quick profile and Palmful tailors your targets, then gently adjusts them over time based on your weigh-ins.
  • Log weigh-ins right from the Diary and follow your progress with a moving-average trend chart.
  • A weekly Treats & Alcohol allowance — a ceiling, not a goal — kept separate from your daily progress so an indulgence never derails the day.
  • An at-a-glance week strip and a clear completion view for each day.
  • Real-world portion hints (e.g. "1 palm ≈ 4 oz", "1 cupped hand ≈ ½ cup") to make eyeballing servings effortless.
  • A built-in Guide that teaches the method and shows everyday food examples, plus a friendly walkthrough the first time you open the app.
